AAP has failed to pay their government officials' salaries, which has erupted a question i.e ‘Is the state government facing any economical crisis? 

The Punjab government couldn't pay their officials last month’s salary, which was directing the thoughts of the people in another way that there was something wrong happening in the economic state of Punjab.

Usually, officials receive their wages on the first of every month, but this month they did not receive their salary until that date. But it is clarified by the CM of Punjab that the state isn’t under any economic crisis. Also, he stated that officials would receive their salaries on 7 September, from Wednesday evening.

He has denied the speculation that the Punjab government has not had more funds to pay their officials, even though he said that their GST collection increased by 23% this year.

Punjab’s Finance Minister, Harpal Cheema also clarified that there is no shortage in Punjab funding. Moreover, Union minister Rijiju has slammed Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal by saying that Aap Chief spoke about making “India no.1” but, what his government has done in Punjab in the year.
