Water entered people's homes due to water-logging at places, roads washed away due to breaking of drains, vehicles got caught in it due to breaking of bridges and its leaders are still flying brazenly in the air of Jammu Smart City.
Far from making a smart city, the sewerage system of the city has not yet been perfected by these people. The city becomes water only after a slight rain. Even today people are forced to live in the same condition as they were living 50 years ago. Kapoor said that only by naming smart city and pasting banners, cities do not become smart.
Today, from the Mayor of Jammu to the minister, they talk big in the air, but in reality there has been little development in Jammu. The condition of the entire city deteriorated due to the rains that took place in the last few days. From place to place the dirt was spread on the roads. In many areas, water entered people's homes for several feet.
There was a loss of lakhs of rupees due to water logging in the shops, but from the councilor to the mayor of GMC, no one considered it necessary to take stock of the situation.This condition of Jammu after the rain makes it clear that smart city is only a jumla and BJP has done nothing at the ground level.
