Cabinet Minister Madam Anmol Gagan Maan paid a special visit today to review the preparations of Aam Aadmi Clinics to be opened from August 15. During this visit, she first visited the Aam Aadmi clinic built at village Chhaju Majra of Kharar Constituency. On reaching here, the minister was warmly welcomed by the gathering of people. After this, she visited village Jandpura and then Aam Aadmi Clinic built at village Kansal.
Meanwhile, the cabinet minister said that another big promise made by the Punjab government to the people before the elections is going to be fulfilled on August 15. Aam Aadmi Clinics have been established very close to people's homes by the state government with the intention of providing free and good health facilities to the people.
She said that in the first phase, 75 such Aam Aadmi Clinics will be established, these clinics will be dedicated to the people on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day on August 15. These clinics will provide the best health services free of cost to the people across the state. She said that there will be a doctor's room, Reception-cum-waiting area in every Aam Aadmi Clinic besides for a MBBS doctor for diagnosis of diseases & treatment of patients .
The other staff will be pharmacists, nurses and attendants at every such clinic. Madam Mann said that about 100 clinical tests and 41 packages will be given free to people in these Aam Aadmi clinics. She said that this revolutionary step of the Punjab government will substantially improve the health care structure in the state. She said that with the opening of Aam Aadmi Clinic, the people will get great relief in terms of health care.
On this occasion, SDM Kharar Mr. Ravinder Singh, Civil Surgeon Mrs. Adarspal Kaur, Dr. Dogra, other district officials and eminent persons such as Harjit Singh Bunty, Dinesh Kumar, Raghbir Modi, Harpreet Singh, Amarjit Singh and other volunteers were specially present in large numbers.
