As part of the luxury bus service launched by the Punjab Government for the convenience of the people and especially NRIs from all over Punjab to Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, this service has also started from Kapurthala bus stand today.
The daily bus was flagged off from Kapurthala bus stand at 11.15 AM by Aam Aadmi Party constituency in-charge Madam Manju Rana and PRTC depot manager Parveen kumar.They said that with the launch of this bus service, the people traveling from Kapurthala to the airport would be greatly facilitated.
The one way fare of the bus is only Rs 1235 whereas earlier the passengers had to pay Rs 3000 to 3500 in private buses. According to the bus schedule, the bus will leave Kapurthala at 11.15 AM daily and return from New Delhi Airport at 11.10 PM.
Manager Praveen Kumar said that booking of Pepsu Road Transport Corporation buses can be done very easily on pepsuonline.com.The bus schedule is available on this website, for which people sitting abroad can also make a booking.
