Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) state in-charge Jarnail Singh on Tuesday said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will hold road shows in support of the party’s candidate Gurmail Singh in Sangrur by-elections in the coming days.

To ensure the record victory of party’s candidate, Punjab in charge Jarnail Singh held a brainstorming session with party workers to discuss strategies and review preparations for CM Mann’s road show ahead of the election.

Attacking the opposition parties, Singh blamed Congress and SAD-BJP for annihilating the future of Punjab by patronising drug smugglers, sand mining, cable mafia and gangster culture.

He said that the opposition is now putting all blame on the ruling AAP government for the alleged deterioration of law and order, which formed government just three months back, while notorious criminals were groomed under their regime for decades.

Jarnail Singh said that Sangrur is the caption of AAP and the considering hard work of the incumbent Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the people of the constituency will again ensure the win of AAP with a thumping margin.

CM Mann had remained a two-time member parliamentary from this seat in 2014 and 2019. This seat fell vacant after Mann, resigned as MP following his triumph from the Dhuri constituency in the state assembly elections.

Showing confidence in AAP’s candidate Gurmail, Punjab in-charge said that he is connected to his roots and has been working diligently for the welfare of Sangrur residents for the past many years.

He is a post-graduate in maths and has also done MBA. Before entering politics as full-time politician, he was a teacher and taught children at various schools till 2018.
