AYUSH Kishtwar today organised a Medical camp-cum- yoga session here in Islamia Faridiya Hr. Sec. School .Assistant Commissioner Panchayat,Administrator Aquaf Kishtwar Zakir Hussain Wani was the chief guest.In his address, the chief guest appreciated the AYUSH department and the  District Nodal office Kishtwar for holding the camp on such a short notice. The principal of the School Naeem Ahmad  also expressed gratitude to the department  for distributing the medicines and holding  the yoga session in the school.The Yoga sessions was the main attraction for the students as it  was their first major interaction with the yoga Therapist  Anil Thakur  after the reopening of the schools post covid.Yoga therapist accompanied by the  Pharmacist  Raj Kumar demonstrated yoga Asana and important pranayama techniques especially for raising the mental and physical efficiency of the students. He also briefed about the lifestyle disorders and the posture corrections for the well being of the students in particular.Later, District Nodal officer Dr Taraq Hussain  distributed immunity boosters and other vital medicines for the overall health of the students. Some important medicines such as Iron and Calcium supplements Amla churana, Tonic Arivand Asava, chawanprash and around 12 major medicines were delivered to the trained pharmacist in the school itself.
