Department of Information and Public Relations J&K, Jammu today organized a photo exhibition on the theme "My Heritage My Pride" (Sada Birsa, Sada Maan) here at Teacher Bhawan Gandhi Nagar to mark the celebration of Teachers’ Day.The photo exhibition reflected the rich cultural heritage, besides the social and natural landscape of Jammu and Kashmir. The exhibition was held in the Teachers’ Bhawan with the objective to highlight the role of a teacher in the society and in shaping the life of the young generation.A range of art works including paintings and photos offered the visitors a glimpse of the Jammu Kashmir’s rich cultural heritage and stunning natural landscape, besides the varied lifestyle of its people which shape their upbringing and value system. Joint Director School Education Jammu, H R Pukhroo along with Deputy Director Planning, Mamta Sharma inaugurated the photo exhibition. Personal Officer School Education department, Sanjay Kumar Bhat; Deputy CEO, Davinder Singh Manhas were also present on the occasion.
