Punjab Large Industrial Development Board Chairman Pawan Dewan honoured Indian Overseas Congress Canada General Secretary Reet Mohinder Singh during a meeting organised at Udyog Bhawan. Various topics related to NRI community were also discussed during the meeting.Dewan lauded the NRI community for their significant contribution in the development of foreign countries; due to their hard work, India and especially Punjab has made a name for itself abroad. They also contribute towards the development of their villages from time to time. He appealed to the NRI community to contribute in Punjab especially in the fields of education and health so that the living standards of the people could be raised even higher. Dewan also hailed the contribution of IOC Candada President Amarpreet Aulakh towards society during the covid pandemic.Mr. Reet Mohinder Singh thanked the Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh for strengthening NRI community in the state. Among others present on the occasion were Ishwinder Singh Goraya and Gurdeep Singh Ahluwalia.
