DIPR organizes cultural programme on COVID-19 appropriate behaviour

To spread awareness among the general masses, the Cultural Wing, Department of Information & Public Relations(DIPR), Jammu organized a cultural programme based on COVID-19 Do’s and Don’ts and featuring folk song and music, here  at Bal Niketan Vaid Mandir.President Bal Niketan,  Suresh Chander was the chief guest on the occasion.While speaking on the occasion, Chander lauded the efforts of the Department for organizing the event of great importance in his institution. He urged for holding more such programmes in institutions for the general awareness of youngsters as well as general masses regarding COVID-19 appropriate behaviour.  Dogri Song “Dogri Makheer Mithi Nai.....” presented by senior artist  Mohinder Kumar, besides Punjabi song on the said topic “Corona Aye Buri Bimari.....” presented by senior artist Balbir Singh were the main attraction of the programme.  Students of the Bal Niketan, Jammu also presented a colourful cultural programme on the occasion.Drama Instructor, Vijay Anand gave a brief resume of the activities being carried out by the Cultural Wing DIPR to disseminate awareness among the masses about COVID-19 Do’s and Don’ts.Later, the DIPR also distributed Pamphlets regarding Do's and Don’ts to stop the spread of the deadly virus, among the students and general masses.The proceedings of the cultural programme were conducted by senior artist Mohinder Kumar.Among others present were Officials of the Bal Niketan, Prominent citizens and locals.
