Most of B2V-I works completed, saturation targets achieved by several departments

Most of the works taken up under the Back to village phase -1 in District Doda have been completed, while several departments have achieved the Aadhaar saturation of individual beneficiary schemes during the 3 week Public Participation Campaign (Jan Baghidhari Abhiyan) launched across J&K in the run up to B2V 3 starting from tomorrow.The 3rd and last Block Diwas held across the seventeen blocks witnessed enthusiastic participation of locals and PRIs.District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode visited four blocks of the district viz Bhagwah, Kastigarh, Assar and Khaleni.During the visit, the DDC distributed Domicile certificates, Soil health cards, Power tillers, Horticulture Pass Books, KCC sanction Letters among the beneficiaries at different locations, besides listened to the grievances of the general public and solved many of them on the spot.He said that the main motive to celebrate the Block Diwas ahead of B2V-3 is to ensure 100% saturation of all the individual beneficiary schemes which includes KCC,PM Kissan, Ayushman Bharat, Pensions etc.DDC said that Adhar saturation targets have been achieved by many departments in the District mainly in KCC, PM Kissan and Pensions. He also said that the B2V-1 works have been completed in majority of the panchayats and in others these are expected to complete before 2nd October. He said the RDD department has also been directed to take up one work in all the Panchayats from B2V-2.The DDC said that District has seen phenomenal growth in the generation of PD under MGNREGA in the last one half year and the targets have also been set for this yearWhile lauding the efforts of PMGSY Department, the DDC said that on daily basis 2-4 km of BT is being laid on the roads across the District and accordingly all the sanctioned roads of the Bhagwah and Kastigarh blocks have been blacktopped and work on the rest would be completed in coming days.
