The second Block Diwas was marked by the launch of several new projects and inauguration of completed works here across Doda district.A fully equipped Intensive Care Facility ward with 5 ventilators and 2 cardiac monitors to effectively deal with Covid-19 cases was inaugurated at Trauma hospital Thathri by District development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode. The DDC also laid the foundation stone of the Tourist Reception Centre and inaugurated a newly established Government Library.The DDC visited four Blocks and handed over the revenue papers of the State land for the construction of ST hostel, BDC office and Police Post at Kahara.The DDC participated in the Awami Muhim program at Kahara, Thathri, Gundna and Ghat Blocks.The DDC interacted with the locals and gave a patient hearing to their grievances and assured them timely disposal.The DDC also handed over power tillers provided by the horticulture department to farmers of Thathri on subsidy.At Mohalla Tehsil of Gundna block the DDC was informed by the JPDCL that around 700 rotten wooden poles are going to be replaced in the upcoming days.
