Doda administration intensifying testing in containment zones

DC reviews progress, calls for sampling of all suspected cases

District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode today chaired a meeting of the designated Nodal officers to take firsthand appraisal of the ongoing testing in the containment zones in the district.During the meeting, the Nodal officers apprised   about the status of the testing in the containment zones and also discussed the  measures to ensure the 100% testing of the targeted population in all the contaminated zones.The DDC directed the concerned to ensure sampling of all the patients coming to OPDs and Private clinics   with flu like symptoms.Moreover, the DDC Informed that the teams at Bhaderwah will be provided  1000 testing kits in addition to add to the existing stock of 700   to ensure testing of whole targeted population.The DDC directed the Nodal officers of Doda to conduct the house numbering of all the households in the Containment zones to complete the testing in a week.The DDC also directed the ACR Doda to constitute the teams of 20 teachers as Oxygen Doot/Oxyegen Messenger for every containment zone in coordination with the education department to conduct door to door visit for the routine check of oxygen of people through pulse oximeters. The officers present in the meeting were ACR Doda, DSWO Doda, AD Food, District Epidemiologist. ADC Bhaderwah and the Nodal officers attended the meeting through Video Conference.
