DC inspects Covid control measures in containment zone Doda

Deputy Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today inspected the Covid control measures  in newly notified containment zone in Doda and took the first hand appraisal about the implementation of necessary SOPs in the containment zone.During the inspection, the DC inspected the entry points, and asked to plug the possible exits that could be used by the people living in the containment zone to sneak out.The DC directed the Police officials to seal all the possible entries and restrict the movement. However, he and directed for smooth supply of essentials.Meanwhile during the visit the DC also interacted with   medical store owners in and around the containment zone and asked them not to give any medicine specifically related to flu like symptoms without the prescription of Doctors. He asked them to maintain record of sale of medicines on daily basis.The DC also directed the Health Department to appoint the Medical Officers as Nodal officer who shall visit all the medical stores and check the database on daily basis.Moreover the DC appealed the people living in the containment zone to restrict their movement, not to have any kind of physical contact with anyone outside the containment zone. He also urged the outsiders not to enter into the containment zone areas.Others accompanying the DC during the visit were ASP, CMO, ACR Doda and others.
