The meeting of the Committee on Petitions (PC) of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly was held here today under the Chairmanship of MLA, Choudhary Sukhnandan Kumar to discuss the pending Petitions before the Committee.Legislators Mumtaz Ahmad Khan, R S Pathania, Gulzar Ahmad Wani, Yawar Ahmad Mir, Noor Mohammad Sheikh and Ishfaq Jabbar Sheikh attended the meeting as the members of the Committee.The Committee disposed of a petition given by the President Ayush, Doctors Association, Kashmir against Dr Abdul Kabir Dar, Secretary (Tech), Health & Medical Education Department (H&ME) also holding the additional charge of Director ISM.The Committee recommended that the said officer be immediately divested of the charge of Director ISM and suitable person be put in place and all the pending enquiries, Crime Branch enquiries, cases in the vigilance and draft audit paras be finalized at the earliest and law should be allowed to take its own course.Secretary Assembly, M R Singh, Additional Secretary (H&ME), K S Chib besides other senior officers of H&ME department and Assembly Secretariat were also present in the meeting.
