An introductory meeting of the Committee on Public Undertakings (PUC) of Legislative Assembly was held here today under the Chairmanship of MLA, Choudhary Sukhnandan Kumar.Legislators: Mubarak Ahmad Gul, Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen Shah, Usman Abdul Majid , Abdul Majid Padder, Priya Sethi, Mohammad Amin Bhat, Dina Nath Bhagat and Aga Syed Mahmood Al-Mosavi attended the meeting.The Committee discussed various aspects related to the working of the Committee and chalk besides pending work load in respect of Audit Paras pointed out by the CAG pertaining to the various Corporations and Undertakings.Secretary Assembly, R L Sharma and Additional Secretary Assembly, Naseem Jan apprised the Committee about the present status of work pending besides action taken on the decisions taken by the Committee.Members of the Committee also gave their valuable suggestions to make the Committee more vibrant and result oriented in its functioning ways to improve overall working of J&K Police Housing Corporation.The Committee decided that the CAG's Audit Paras pertaining to the Housing Corporation, Home Department would be discussed in its next meeting.
