A meeting of the Committee on Petitions (PC), Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly was held here today under the Chairmanship of MLA, Choudhary Sukhnandan Kumar to discuss the Petition received by the Assembly Secretariat.The Committee discussed the petition submitted by Ayush Doctors Association Kashmir (ADAK) alleging Director General, ISM/Secretary (Tech)Health and Medical Education of being involved in various scams and malpractices.Legislators, Javid Mustaffa Mir, R.S. Pathania, Noor Mohammad Sheikh and Anjum Fazili attended the meeting and gave their suggestions regarding the reply furnished by the department.The Principal Secretary, Health and Medical Education, Pawan Kotwal briefed the Committee about their point of view and reply of Action Taken report submitted by the department.The Committee directed the Commissioner Secretary Health and Medical Education to give a detailed report in respect of the Diploma certificates of the Dawasaz in AYUSH.Among other, Secretary, Legislative Assembly, M R Singh, Additional Secretary, Health and Medical Education, Additional Secretary, GAD, Special Secretary, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
