Sukhnandan chairs Petitions Committee meet

The meeting of Committee on Petitions of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly was held here today under the Chairmanship of Choudhary Sukhnandan Kumar .The meeting was attended by Legislators Mumtaz Ahmad Khan, Gulzar Ahmad Wani, Noor Mohammad Sheikh, Anjum Fazili besides Additional DC, Purnima Mittal, Special Secretary Revenue F.A Shah, Additional Commissioner Kashmir, A.R War and other officials were present in the meeting.The meeting held elaborate discussions regarding the petition submitted by Mohd Sultan Reshi and Wali Mohammad Reshi regarding alleged fraudulent sale of their land by Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Reshi and others, with the help of Patwari, Tehsildar and other revenue officials.After elaborate discussions, the Committee directed concerned officials to furnish details regarding the case and submit relating documentation to the Committee. Subsequently, the committee sought another meeting on 19 July 2017.
