A meeting of Petitions Committee of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly was held here today under the Chairmanship of Choudhary Sukhnandan Kumar to review and discuss the status of Petitions filed before the Committee.Legislators, R S Pathania, Noor Mohammad Sheikh and Anjum Fazili attended the meeting.The committee was apprised about the two new Petitions received by the Assembly Secretariat, one relating to Twinkle Mohan wife of Sachin Pagotra resident of Talab Tillo against the Jammu and Kashmir Cooperative Housing Corporation and another filed by one Mohammad Sultan Reshi son of Wali Mohammad Reshi resident of Takie Sangreshi regarding fraudulent sale of land by some residents in connivance with the concerned revenue officials.The Committee held the preliminary discussion on the petitions and decided to call Managing Director, J&K Cooperative Housing Corporation, and other concerned officers along with relevant record in the next meeting to seek their views on the subject enabling the Committee to take appropriate decision.Among others, Additional Secretary Legislative Assembly, Naseem Jan besides other senior officers of Assembly Secretariat were also present in the meeting.
