Issue of PAU students solved after SOI intervention

Students of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) met Chairman Youth Development Board Parambans Singh Bunty Romana in presence of SOI Zonal president Meetpal Singh Dugri.The students submitted memorandum to Romana in the name of Deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal.The students demanded that the Punjab government should give preference to students of MSC Agriculture for government jobs. In 2011 the candidate was given 10 marks extra for post graduation degree but now government has decided to give only 2 marks to post graduate candidate.Parambans Singh Romana and Meetpal Dugri took up the demands of students with Deputy CM following which the necessary instructions were issued to the concerned departments.Meetpal Singh Dugri said that now the students having post graduation degree will be given ten marks during the recruitment of jobs in Agriculture department.Prabhjot Singh Dhaliwal,Sahibjot Singh Chawla,Prince Kang,Anmol Gill,Gurprem Boparia and many more were present.
