After Strengthening the student body of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) in Urban, Zonal president Meetpal Singh Dugri announced Kanwar Jaggi as Ludhiana Rural president of Student organisation of India (SOI) during an impressive function at circuit house, here on Saturday. Meetpal also appointed Daljit Gill as advisor of the wing.Last week, SOI has announced The last of new two district presidents of SOI Urban, one Rural president, ten senior vice presidents, seven Vice presidents and nine General Secretary.Addressing the press conference, Director Youth Development Board and Zonal president of SOI Meetpal Singh Dugri said that the newly appointed office bearers and team of SOI will play an important role in forming the government of SAD third time in 2017.
Accompanied by Prabhjot Singh Dhaliwal, Sahibjot Singh Chawla,Raja kang and others, SOI Zonal president Meetpal Singh said that SOI will continue to fight against the private schools forcing students to buy books of particular private publishers, charging huge readmission fee and exploiting students.Meetpal Dugri said they will urge Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal to discuss the issue in cabinet and fix rules and regulations for private schools.
