MLA from Amritsar East Assembly constituency, Mrs. Jeevanjot Kaur, today inaugurated the construction work for modern sports infrastructure at the 7-acre park in Ward No. 35 (New Amritsar). She said that under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is continuously working to connect youth with sports and provide modern facilities to the people.

MLA Jeevanjot Kaur stated that the park is being developed in line with state-level sports infrastructure standards. Under the project, the park will soon have a synthetic jogging track, an acrylic-layer badminton court, basketball court, volleyball court, skating track and cricket pitches.
