Reaffirming the Punjab Government's commitment to inclusive welfare and social security, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Chief Minister, Sukhveer Singh, today distributed financial assistance cheques amounting to ₹5.10 lakh to 13 beneficiaries of the Dhuri Assembly constituency under the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. The financial assistance has been sanctioned to help the beneficiaries construct permanent houses.

Addressing the gathering, OSD Sukhveer Singh said that under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is implementing people-centric welfare initiatives with a focus on ensuring that timely assistance reaches every deserving family. He said the government is making concerted efforts to ensure that no eligible beneficiary is deprived of the benefits of its welfare schemes.

He said the Chief Minister's Relief Fund has become a vital source of support for economically weaker families, enabling them to improve their living conditions through the construction of permanent houses. He added that the Punjab Government remains steadfast in fulfilling its commitments to the people and is ensuring the transparent and efficient delivery of welfare benefits to every eligible citizen.

During the programme, beneficiaries from the villages of Bagrian, Bamal, Bhasaur, Jakhla, Bhullarheri, Didargarh, Manawala, Dhuri, Harchandpura, Ranike, Bugra, Kanjhla and Ladda received financial assistance cheques under the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

Prominent among those present were Chairman, Zila Parishad, Rachhpal Singh Bhullar; SDM Dhuri, Dr. Ismat Vijay Singh; Chief Minister's Field Officer, Arvind Kumar; Gagan Jawandha; Councillor Pushpinder Sharma; Director Anil Mittal; District Planning Committee Member Naresh Singla, besides other dignitaries.
