Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Sunday paid obeisance at the Darbar of Dera Almast Bapu Lal Badshah Ji during the annual fair at Nakodar and sought blessings for the peace, prosperity and all-round development of Punjab.

After attending the cultural programme, the Chief Minister expressed gratitude for the overwhelming love and affection showered by people from all walks of life and said the blessings of the Gurus, Pirs, Fakirs and martyrs continue to guide Punjab on the path of communal harmony and progress.

Reaffirming his government’s commitment to rebuilding a vibrant Rangla Punjab, Bhagwant Singh Mann said the trust reposed in him by the people was his greatest strength and pledged to serve the state with complete honesty, dedication and transparency.

Sharing a few snippets from this auspicious occasion, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann stated that on X: “Today, I had the privilege of paying obeisance at the Darbar of Dera Almast Bapu Lal Badshah Ji during the annual fair in Nakodar. I sincerely thank the mothers, sisters, children and elderly people who attended the fair in large numbers and showered me with immense love and affection.”

“May the blessings of our Gurus, Pirs, Fakirs and martyrs always remain with us on this sacred land of faith, harmony and brotherhood. With these blessings, we remain fully committed to the all-round development of Punjab and to rebuilding a vibrant and prosperous Rangla Punjab,” the post concluded.

Addressing the gathering, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “It gives me immense pleasure and joy to be present today at this sacred place. Punjab is a land of fairs and festivals. This is a fertile land where every seed can grow, but the seed of hatred can never germinate here.

Communal harmony and unity are the greatest strengths of Punjab. People here celebrate every festival together, whether it is Ram Navmi, Gurpurab or any other festival.” Referring to the upcoming celebrations, the Chief Minister stated, “All of us will celebrate the upcoming 650th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Ravidass Ji Maharaj together.

Punjab is a land of religious harmony and freedom. Divisive forces can never succeed here because our social bonding is very strong. The people of Punjab always stand together in both good and difficult times.” Highlighting the change brought by his government, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “Earlier governments used artists merely to gather crowds, but times have changed.

We have restored the dignity of artists. The people of Punjab have entrusted me with the responsibility of serving the state, and I am performing this duty with complete honesty and responsibility.” He further said, “I have earned the trust of the people of Punjab through hard work, and I will never allow that trust to be broken.”

The Chief Minister said, “Our government is providing financial assistance to women through the Mawan Dhiyan Satkar Yojna. From July 1, women have started receiving financial assistance in their bank accounts. Every woman is entitled to ₹1,000 per month, while women belonging to Scheduled Castes receive ₹1,500 per month.

The funds are being transferred directly into bank accounts, and women already receiving social security pensions are also eligible under the scheme.” He further said, “Nearly 97% of women in Punjab are benefiting from the Maavan Dheeyan Satkar Yojna, for which the state government has allocated ₹9,300 crore in the Budget.”

Highlighting the expansion of the Mukh Mantri Tirath Yatra Yojana, the Chief Minister said, “Under this scheme, pilgrims are being facilitated to visit major religious destinations, including Sri Harmandir Sahib, Sri Anandpur Sahib, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Salasar Dham and Khatu Shyam Ji.”

Thanking the people of Punjab for their unwavering trust, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “Together, we must build a happy and prosperous Punjab, not another London or California. I will continue to serve the people of Punjab with complete dedication to ensure their well-being and the overall progress of the state.

Our government is working tirelessly for the welfare of every section of society, and no stone is being left unturned.” Pointing out further, the Chief Minister said, “The people of Punjab have given us an opportunity to make wise and pro-people decisions.

Every decision of our government is aimed at safeguarding the larger interests of Punjab and putting the state on a high-growth trajectory.” Emphasising the importance of remaining connected with one’s roots, CM Bhagwant Singh Mann said, “Trees with deep roots never fall, regardless of the circumstances.

Likewise, all of us should always remain connected with our roots.” The Chief Minister said, “Our government is working sincerely and with complete transparency to make Punjab vibrant and prosperous in every sector. The positive results of these efforts are now visible.”

Congratulating the Sangat and the organising committee on the successful Annual Fair of Almast Bapu Lal Badshah Ji, Bhagwant Singh Mann paid obeisance at the Darbar and sought blessings for the unprecedented development, prosperity and progress of Punjab.

Senior AAP leader and Punjab Prabhari Manish Sisodia, former MP Hans Raj Hans, MLA Inderjeet Kaur Mann and several other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
