Paras Health Panchkula has launched its comprehensive Liver Transplant Program, marking a significant step towards strengthening access to advanced liver transplantation and specialized hepatobiliary care for patients across North India. The program offers end-to-end transplant services, including patient evaluation, donor assessment, transplant surgery, intensive post-operative care, rehabilitation, and long-term follow-up through a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

The launch comes at a time when liver diseases continue to pose a significant healthcare challenge in India, increasing the need for timely diagnosis and advanced treatment options. During the launch, experts, including Dr. Ankur Garg, Dr. Vaibhaw Kumar, Prof. Gp Capt Dr. Sumesh Kaistha, Dr. Raghav Bansal, and Dr. Karan Midha, highlighted the growing burden of liver disease and emphasized the importance of early intervention, multidisciplinary care, and timely access to liver transplantation for improving patient outcomes.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pankaj Mittal, Facility Director, Paras Health Panchkula, said, "The launch of the Liver Transplant Program at Paras Health Panchkula reflects our commitment to expanding access to highly specialized healthcare services in North India. Liver transplantation often represents the only hope for patients with advanced liver disease, and timely access to quality care can significantly improve outcomes.

Through this program, we aim to combine clinical excellence, advanced technology, and compassionate patient care to ensure that patients receive comprehensive transplant services closer to their homes." The program brings together liver transplant surgeons, hepatologists, gastroenterologists, critical care specialists, anesthesiologists, radiologists, and transplant coordinators to ensure seamless care throughout the transplant journey.

Supported by advanced operating theatres, dedicated transplant infrastructure, and specialized critical care facilities, the program is designed to deliver safe and effective transplant outcomes. The Liver Transplant Program will cater to patients with end-stage liver disease, acute liver failure, liver cancers requiring transplantation, and other complex hepatobiliary disorders, further strengthening Paras Health Panchkula's commitment to delivering advanced and accessible healthcare across North India.
