Haryana Health, Medical Education & Research, and AYUSH Minister Arti Singh Rao said the State Government is committed to providing transparent, accountable, and responsive governance to its citizens. She directed officials to ensure that all public grievances are resolved in a time-bound manner and on priority.
Arti Singh Rao was chairing the meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee in Faridabad today. A total of 15 grievances pertaining to various departments were placed before the committee. Of these, 12 grievances were resolved on the spot, while directions were issued for necessary action on the remaining three cases, which were deferred to the next meeting.
Officials of the concerned departments also presented detailed reports on their respective cases.Regarding a complaint about the risk of accidents due to high-tension electricity lines passing through a rural area, officials of the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam informed the Minister that the work process had commenced after the required amount was deposited and that the line-shifting work would be completed within the next 15 days.
Taking serious note of the matter, Arti Singh Rao instructed the officials to ensure that there is no unnecessary delay and that the work is completed within the stipulated timeframe.The Health Minister also directed all Heads of Departments not to treat grievance disposal as a mere formality, but to visit the sites wherever necessary and ensure permanent solutions to the issues.
She said that the Government's objective is to ensure that citizens are not forced to make repeated visits to government offices for the resolution of their problems. She instructed all departments to take timely action, submit compliance reports, and handle all public interest matters with complete sensitivity, accountability, and responsibility.
