The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is being celebrated with great enthusiasm across district Ramban. Under the leadership of the District Administration, all departments and sections of society are organising a series of patriotic activities that blend the spirit of nationalism with community engagement.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan, Senior Superintendent of Police Arun Gupta, SSP Traffic NHW Raja Adil Hamid Ganaie, ADC Varunjeet Singh Charak, Addl. SP Mujeeb-ur-Rehman and other key officers from the district administration, police and allied departments participated in various events held across the district.

In a mega event, girl students tied self-made Tiranga Rakhis to soldiers with the slogan “Tiranga Rakhi Har Veer Ki Kalai Per.” The celebrations began at the District Police Lines Ramban, where Rakhis were tied to J&K Police and CISF jawans.

This was followed by a visit to the Army Camp Maitra, where students extended the gesture to soldiers of all ranks. The event evoked deep patriotic and emotional sentiments, reflecting the tradition of honouring soldiers on Raksha Bandhan.

The symbolic act of tying a Rakhi to jawans represents love, respect, and gratitude for their unwavering dedication to protecting the nation. Across the district, the campaign also featured vibrant rallies, painting competitions, cultural performances, and awareness drives focusing on cleanliness, water conservation, plantation and hygiene, transforming Ramban into a hub of patriotic fervour.
