Haryana Industries and Commerce, Minister,  Rao Narbir Singh, has directed officers to take full responsibility in ensuring the delivery of basic public services and to guarantee that government schemes and services reach the last person in the queue. Chairing the District Public Relations and Grievance Committee meeting in Jhajjar on Friday, he reviewed a total of 16 complaints, out of which 10 were resolved on the spot.

The Minister stressed that all road stretches in Jhajjar district must be repaired before the onset of the monsoon season. He directed that potholes on roads should be fixed on an immediate basis to ensure smooth traffic movement.

Ramniwas, a resident of village Bhambhewa, regarding illegal encroachment in a street. The BDP Office, Beri informed that the encroachment had already been removed. Rao Narbir Singh directed that strict legal action should be taken if such encroachments occur again in the future.

Dharambir Singh  a resident of village Mehrana  shared the issue of contaminated water accumulation around residential areas. The Minister directed that the problem should be resolved within one week through soil filling and other necessary measures.

Similarly, Budhram , a resident of village Dighal informed the committee that his brother had died during treatment at a government hospital four years ago, and although an inquiry was conducted at the district level, he remained dissatisfied with the findings. The Minister directed the Deputy Commissioner to re-examine the matter at his level.

The Minister further  directed the officers of the Irrigation, Power, Panchayati Raj, and Public Health Engineering Departments to ensure that no village faces waterlogging during the rainy season. He also ordered removal of illegal encroachments from village ponds and panchayat land.

He reiterated that officers must remain accountable and proactive in addressing public grievances and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
