Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal, today conducted a thorough inspection of several water schemes, including the Middle Kamsar, Main Pumping Station Poonch, Dungas. During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the installation of high-capacity pumping machinery, specifically HCP sets with a capacity of 10,000 GPH × 150 MH, at both the Dungas and Middle Kamsar pumping stations, which are designated as standby systems.
In light of the upcoming holy month of Ramzan, the Deputy Commissioner directed the Executive Engineer of Jal Shakti to expedite the completion of remaining work. He emphasized the importance of ensuring an uninterrupted water supply to every household, highlighting the administration's commitment to meeting the needs of the community during this significant period.
