Adopting tough stance against all such poly technique colleges which have still not implemented the recommendation of the 6th pay commission, the Punjab government has ordered punitive action against these erring institutes.Disclosing this here today Madan Mohan Mittal, Technical Education and Industrial training Minister said that administrative head of the department has been asked to furnish the list of all such faulty institutes to the All India Council for Technical Education within 10 days, recommending punitive action. The minister said that the Punjab government has taken serious note of the non compliance of the technical institutes for not implementing the recommendation of 6th pay commission. He said that the pay scales and other service conditions have not been revised by these erring institutes. He said that all the government funded and private Poly Technique colleges have been asked to send report of the compliance in this regard within one month, but most of the institutes did not send the report.
