People will get door Step service delivery with the establishment of Sewa Kenderas in rural & urban areas. During the initial phase 322 Sewa Kenderas have been established in the state and Sewa Kenderas being established during second phase in rural areas will also be made functional soon. This was stated by Minster for Industry & Commerce Sh. Madan Mohan Mittal while addressing the gathering after formal inauguration of 3 Sewa Kenderas at Mohali. He also presented Sewa Kendera at Phase 3B1 (Near Dispensary) and at Phase 11, for the public.Sh.Madan Mohan Mittal said that during the first phase these Sewa Kendras will provide 62 various services relating to Govt. works. Later on these will be expanded to 351 services. He said that SAD+BJP Govt. is working for infrastructural development of the state; on the other hand it has initiated various welfare schemes for the benefit of general public. During this he said that Punjab has implemented Atta Dal Scheme firstly & is the first state for implementing Bhagat Pooran Singh Health Insurance Scheme. During this he urged that people should take benefits of welfare scheme initiated by Govt. along with services being provided through these Sewa Kenderas.

Earlier addressing to press regarding activities of Delhi CM & AAP Convener Kejriwal, he said that Kejriwal Govt. Has totally failed in Delhi. People in Delhi are deprived off basic facilities. He said Kejriwal has no politeness in his blood and neither has he had understanding of politics of Punjab and nor the culture of Punjab. He will definitely get a big defeat in coming election from Punjab.Addressing the gathering Deputy Commissioner Sh. D.S.Mangat said that Punjab Govt. has taken a great historic decision of establishing Sewa Kenderas in rural areas which will be biennial for the public at grass route level. He said that there are 31 Sewa Kenderas established in the district in urban area. Out of which 16 are at Dera Bassi, 5 at Mohali & 10 are at Kharar. He said that remaining 45 Sewa Kenderas for rural areas will also be made operational soon. Gathering was also addressed by Councillor & President District Akali Dal (Woman Wing) Bibi Kuldeep Kaur Kang, Councillor Arun Sharma & CEO BLS Sh. Nikhil Gupta.
