Haryana Education Minister, Sh. Mahipal Dhanda on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Sh. Nitin Gadkari at his residence in New Delhi and sought his guidance on the state's overall development and strengthening of road infrastructure.
During the meeting, Sh. Mahipal Dhanda held detailed discussions on improving educational infrastructure and enhancing highway connectivity across Haryana. He said that the country has witnessed unprecedented growth in road and infrastructure development under Sh. Nitin Gadkari as Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways.
He added that the extensive network of national highways and expressways in Haryana has made travel safer and more convenient for students, teachers and the general public.The Education Minister informed the Union Minister that a robust road network is essential to ensure safe and seamless access to schools, colleges and universities located in both rural and urban areas of the state.
Discussions were also done on the measures to strengthen approach roads and improve traffic safety arrangements around educational institutions.Sh. Mahipal Dhanda said that Sh. Nitin Gadkari's experience and long-term vision continue to inspire policymakers across the country.
He added that the courtesy meeting included meaningful discussions on expanding infrastructure with a special focus on the needs and convenience of Haryana's youth and students.Union Minister Sh. Nitin Gadkari appreciated the initiatives being undertaken in Haryana in the fields of education and infrastructure development and assured all possible support from the Central Government for the state's development.
