In a significant step towards promoting environmental sustainability, a plantation drive was organized today at the DC Office Complex Doda. The initiative was led by District Development Council (DDC) Chairman, Dhananter Singh, in the presence of Deputy Commissioner (DC), Harvinder Singh.

Both of them planted saplings in the office premises, marking their commitment to a greener and cleaner district. The event, organized in collaboration with the Forest Department, witnessed the active participation of other officials, including ADC , Sudershan Kumar and ACR Doda, Sunil Bhutyal.

The plantation drive aimed to enhance the greenery around the complex and raise awareness about the importance of afforestation and ecological balance. The plantation drive was conducted under the banner of "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam," an initiative that pays tribute to motherhood and the nurturing qualities of nature.

The campaign encourages individuals to plant a tree in honor of their mothers, symbolizing gratitude and the essence of care and protection. This thoughtful approach aims to strengthen emotional connections to environmental conservation.
