On the auspicious occasion of Durga Ashtami, 'Falahar Grahan' program was organized by Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Raj Bhawan today. He has extended greetings to the people of the State on the occasion of Durga Ashtami. Governor prayed for happiness and prosperity for the State.
In his message, he said that this festival inspires all of us to walk on the path of truth with firmness and eradicate the evils from our lives. Earlier, the Governor and Lady Governor Janki Shukla offered prayers at the famous religious place at Kali Bari Temple in Shimla in the morning and also distributed Prasad to the devotees.
दुर्गाष्टमी के अवसर पर राजभवन में फलाहार ग्रहण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन

राज्यपाल शिव प्रताप शुक्ल ने आज प्रदेशवासियों को दुर्गा अष्टमी की शुभकामनाएं दी और राज्य की सुख-समृद्धि की प्रार्थना की। अपने शुभ कामना संदेश में उन्होंने कहा कि यह त्योहार हम सभी को सत्य के पथ पर चलने और बुराइयों पर विजय प्राप्त करने का संदेश देता है।
इस पावन अवसर पर राजभवन में फलाहार ग्रहण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इससे पहले, राज्यपाल और लेडी गवर्नर जानकी शुक्ल ने सुबह शिमला के प्रसिद्ध धार्मिक स्थल काली बाड़ी मंदिर में पूजा-अर्चना की और भक्तों को प्रसाद भी वितरित किया।
