The Chairperson, District Development Council (DDC) Kulgam, today facilitated the distribution of sports kits to several cricket teams at Block Pombai. These kits were acquired under the ADF with an aim to elevate the level of sportsmanship and foster a culture of athleticism within the region.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC Chairperson said that this significant step underscores their commitment to nurturing talent and promoting sports at the grassroots level. The programme was attended by a large number of people from the said areas.
On the occasion, the DDC Chairperson listened to the issues of people patiently and assured of raising the same with concerned quarters for timely redressal. He also inaugurated a power transformer and dedicated it to the general public. During his visit, the DDC Chairperson also addressed the large gathering and inspected various DDC/ PRI works in the area.
