In a significant step towards community engagement and addressing local concerns, Principal Secretary Finance, Santosh Dattatreya Vaidya, presided over a well-attended public outreach camp in the Moughla block of Rajouri district. Accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Om Prakash Bhagat, and other key officials, the camp served as a platform for residents to voice their issues directly to the administration.

Citizens from Moughla and surrounding regions came forward with various developmental concerns, ranging from infrastructure needs like road construction and power augmentation to essential services such as healthcare and education. The community's requests included specific projects like road repairs, bridge construction, and the establishment of educational and health facilities.

Principal Secretary Vaidya took the opportunity to inspect informational stalls set up by different departments, showcasing government schemes and initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for the local populace. He stressed the importance of these outreach camps in fostering direct dialogue between the government and the public, enhancing transparency and responsiveness in governance.

Vaidya reassured attendees of the government’s commitment to addressing their concerns promptly and underscored various ongoing and upcoming projects aimed at bolstering the region's infrastructure and services. He highlighted significant improvements in road connectivity, water supply, and the health sector, illustrating the government's efforts to improve living standards across Jammu and Kashmir.

The public was encouraged to actively participate in government programs like Ayushman Bharat and to contribute to the region's holistic agricultural development. Vaidya also outlined the strategic advancements in hydropower, aiming to double capacity by 2026, and emphasized the importance of maintenance and operational sustainability in public utilities.

The camp concluded with Deputy Commissioner Bhagat summarizing the progress made in addressing public grievances raised in earlier camps, indicating a positive trend in problem-solving and community satisfaction.
