As a part of ongoing Road Safety Month a special drive was conducted by the Motor Vehicle Department to register the Youth on mygov application for online road safety quiz. More than 100 youth participated and provided digital certificates for participation, which were generated on the spot.

The Drive was conducted on the directions of Pankaj Bhagotra, Regional Transport Officer, Jammu and over all supervision of Rajinder Singh Tara, Transport Commissioner, J&K and Neeraj Kumar, Administrative Secretary to Government, Transport Department, J&K.  Moreover, the participants were also educated about the importance of observing road traffic rules/regulations to minimize road mishaps and save precious lives.

Besides, all the participants along with the officials/officers of the Motor Vehicles Department were administered an oath of safe driving and promoting safe road culture. The participants were shown videos on road safety and Good Samaritan.

The event concluded with a pledge taking ceremony in the Regional Transport Office, Jammu. Those who attended include Rehana Tabassam, ARTO (HQRS), Esha Chib, ARTO, BOI (Goods), Kuldeep Singh, ARTO (Passenger), Surinder Kumar, MVI.
