Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla inaugurated the Blood Donation Camp organized by the State Red Cross Society in association with Lions Club Shimla at Red Cross Bhavan today. While interacting with the blood donors the Governor appreciated them for the noble cause and service to mankind while in need.
He said that the State Red Cross through its various branches was playing a significant role in organizing such camps besides creating awareness for blood donation to save precious lives. The governor also distributed donor certificates on the occasion.
Rajesh Sharma, Secretary to Governor, Kusum Sadret, former Mayor, Municipal Corporation Shimla and Vikas Seth, President, Lions Club Shimla were also present among others on the occasion.
