Deputy Comissioner Sh. Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa, IAS presided over a crucial meeting as part of the ongoing "Ghar Ghar KCC Abhiyan." The meeting aimed at reviewing and expediting the implementation of the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) and Kisan Saman Nidhi Yojana to benefit farmers in the district.
During the session, the District Collector emphasized the importance of expediting the saturation of KCC and ensuring effective implementation of the Kisan Saman Nidhi Yojana. He stressed that these initiatives play a pivotal role in enhancing financial inclusion for farmers, providing them with the necessary credit facilities and financial support.
He directed officials to share information regarding the importance of KCC at Panchayat Level and aim to touch every farmer. Lead Development Bank Manager Sh. Harmesh Lal, Deputy Registrar of Cooperatives and Society Ms. Paramjit Kaur Dhillon, Assistant Registrar of Cooperatives and Society and Agriculture Officer were prominent attendees in the meeting.
