In order to work out the joint strategy for efficient management of Apple Leaf Blotch Miner Pest and to prevent its spread, the Director Horticulture Kashmir, Ghulam Rasool Mir today chaired a meeting at Directorate of Horticulture Kashmir Srinagar.

During the course of the meeting threadbare discussion was held on the intensity, proliferation, transmission and management/eradication of Apple Leaf Blotch Miner.Director Horticulture emphasized upon the officers of the department to put their every effort to reach out to the farming community for guidance, awareness and preventive measures to handle the situation.

The meeting was attended by Dr Manzoor Ahmad Parray, HOD Division of Entomology SKAUST-K, Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, Jt. Director Horticulture Kashmir, Javid Ahmad Bhat, OSD to Director Horticulture Kashmir, Shiekh Imran, Chief Technical officer, Directorate of Agriculture Kashmir, Scientists of SKAUST-K, KVK and officers of the department.
