The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Pulwama, Dr. Sheikh Abdul Aziz has chaired a joint meeting of Revenue and Agriculture Officers to review the status of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) in the district.

The ADDC acknowledged the progress made by the district and complimented the efforts of the department for successfully implementing PM-KISAN and taking it forward.He took a detailed review with regard to bulk uploading of revenue records of PM-KISAN beneficiaries, mutation of eligible beneficiaries on account of pending inheritance mutations, completion of e-KYC process and saturation of bank accounts of PM-KISAN.

The chair was apprised that eligible beneficiaries have been uploaded on the portal as on date besides, e-KYC, NPCI of beneficiaries, self registration of farmers have also been done.The categorization of pendencies on account of various reasons was also discussed in detail.

Concerned Tehsildars were directed to hold mutation camps in the district in mission mode to cover all the eligible beneficiaries having land holding in their name so that they can receive the benefits as well.

Among others, the meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Ajaz Ahmed; Nodal Officer PM-KISSAN (Chief Agriculture Officer), Tehsildars, Zonal Agriculture Officers and other concerned.
