Teachers participated in a motorbike rally to boost government school enrollment in huge numbers in the district today. The rally, flagged off by Deputy Commissioner, Inder Jeet, aimed to raise awareness about education and facilities in government schools.

Teachers rode bikes with placards promoting the enrollment drive. The DC was accompanied by Joint Director School Education, Mohd Ashraf; CEO Poonch, Bishamber Dass; and DEPO Poonch, N M Suri.

Inder Jeet appreciated the participation of the teachers and emphasised the significance of education in the development of the district. He urged parents to prioritise education and enroll their children in government schools.

Mohd Asraf urged parents in Poonch district to admit their children in government schools and avail the benefits of various schemes. Government schools offer incentives including scholarships, special assistance for girls, free books, uniforms and mid-day meals. 

These facilities provide a conducive learning environment and ensure quality education without financial constraints.Chief Education Officer, Bishamber Dass emphasised that government schools are equipped with resources and opportunities to nurture students’ academic growth.

Cluster Heads, ZEO Poonch, ZEO Kanuyian, ZEO Nangali and ZEPO Poonch were also present in the rally. The rally was coordinated by members of District Resource Group Poonch, Darshan Kumar and Harish Sharma.
