PF Commissioner holds awareness programme for EPF beneficiaries in Kishtwar

Provident Fund Commissioner, Rizwan Uddin conducted a two-day tour to district Kishtwar to conduct Nidhi Aapke Nikat, a public hearing cum awareness programme for EPF beneficiaries and stakeholders.

The aim was to ensure broad-based participation, awareness, grievances redressal, and information exchange closer to EPFO stakeholders. About 200 participants including district officers, employees and employers of various establishments, private schools, NHIDCL, and HEPP participated in the outreach programme.

During the programme, the majority of grievances of EPF beneficiaries were addressed on spot. The PF Commissioner provided handholding support to stakeholders and heard their suggestions, inputs and grievances. 

A detailed insight into various provisions of EPF schemes 1955 and 1995 was given to participants. The role and responsibilities of principal employers and significance of related online portal were also discussed. 

Issues and problems faced by various organisations in implementing the EPF & MP Act 1952 were heard, and necessary actions taken accordingly.
