A District level sensitization Workshop on Ease of Doing Business and Single Window System was held today here  under the guidance of Director General of Industries and Commerce, Jammu, Anoo Malhotra.

The programme was held in the Conference Hall of District Administrative Complex under the chairmanship of Er. Masood Ahmed Bichoo, General Manager, DIC. A team of Technical experts of BRAP and EoDB, Anishesh Mishra, Deepak Malla, Anil Gupta, Abhishek Kesar facilitated the hosting of the  workshop.

T.K. Koul, Functional Manager; DMO, Angrej Singh; District Officer, Pollution Control Committee, Adeish Singh; IPO, DIC Reasi & Representatives from different government departments, Members from Industrial Associations, Reasi, entrepreneurs and youth from different institutions attended the Workshop.

The sensitization workshop was scheduled in district Reasi by the department of Industries and Commerce in continuation to the UT government’s initiatives under Ease of Doing Business and living reforms to provide hassle free services to businesses and citizens.   

A team of Technical experts of BRAP and EoDB briefed the participants regarding the process/ system. The session included question-answer and open house discussion for better understanding and implementation of Portal/system. 

Technical experts through detailed PPTs and video presentations explained the process of EoDB and Single Window System to the participants. Moreover, a threadbare discussion was also held during the session.

Various issues and changes to be made as per the departmental point of view were proposed to the visiting experts. The visiting Technical experts were also requested to conduct more such workshops in the district to bring maximum awareness on Ease of Doing Business and Single Window System/portal in the district.
