Punjab Government is committed to provide best educational facilities and state-of-the-art infrastructure to the students and to encourage the students to take admission in government schools, Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal flagged off a special awareness van from the district administrative complex. 

On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner said that this van will visit the blocks of the district and encourage students to get admission in government schools.DC Jitendra Jorwal said that government schools were not lagging behind from private schools in terms of facilities, in fact students, under the able guidance of experienced teachers of government schools were making great strides in every field. 

He said that the government is leaving no stone unturned to provide all the best facilities in government schools and to make people aware of these features, this special van will reach every locality. 

He said that this step has been taken to ensure hundred percent enrollment of students from LKG to Class XII and this specially designed van by the Education Department will create awareness in villages and urban areas as well.

On this occasion Sanjeev Sharma District Education Officer Secondary, Shivraj Kapoor District Education Officer Elementary, Angrej Singh Deputy District Education Officer Secondary, Vinod Handa Deputy District Education Officer Elementary, Gurmeet Singh Isapur BPEO Sangrur-1 and Jaspreet Nagra District Coordinator were also present.
