The 83rd Apollo Tires Rural Sports Festival of Kila Raipur, a symbol of Punjab's rich sports heritage, went off with flying colors today. Kila Raipur Sports Society (Patti Suhavia) President Colonel Surinder Singh Grewal, General Secretary Gurwinder Singh Grewal, Sarpanch Gyan Singh, Gurinder Singh Grewal, Baljit Singh, Davinder Singh Punia and the team during these three-day games, heritage games of Punjab, Sports related to the Olympic movement, martial arts and folk dances of Punjab remained the center of attraction. 

MLA Rajinder Kaur Chhina arrived as the chief guest to distribute prizes to the winning players today. He congratulated the organizers and players that they are contributing to the realization of the dream of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. 

During these games, thousands of spectators from the country and abroad enjoyed these games every day. The success of these games dedicated to Kamaljit Singh Grewal (Kamal), there was full support from the NRI’s, village panchayat and dignitaries of the area. 

Horse riding, individual competitions, Punjab style Kabaddi, hockey and athletics competitions were the center of attraction on the last day of the sports festival. On the last day of the games, hockey Olympians Rajinder Singh and Hardeep Singh Grewal, Dronacharya Baldev Singh Shahbad Markanda and former police officer Jatinder Singh Aulakh were honored with special awards. 

Stage managed by Dr. Sukhdarshan Singh Chahal, Gurwinder Singh Grewal and Satpal Khadial.Heritage Games:- Ladi from Rajasthan won Gurj by defeating Muhammad Ishaq in the wrestling competitions of young children. Rajinder Kumar, who registered a record in the Guinness Book, lifted 63 kg with his ears. 

Jishan and Gyasuddin from Bareilly running as  train. Harjinder Singh Kaleka and Amaninder Singh Patiala showed stunts on motorcycles. Punjab Singh, who came from Patti (Taran Taran), stopped four motorcycles with his bullocks. Sukhcharan Singh Brar Muktsar took the games to the top by presenting a paragliding show. 75-year-old Hardam Singh Alamgir stabbed. 

Jagdeep Singh Matoi pulled the car with his teeth. In the Apollo Tire Race, Jagtar Singh Jartoli got the first place, Gurpreet Singh Sangrur got the second place and Neeraj Kumar Guhana (Haryana) got the third place.

Team competition:- Swatch Hockey Academy Sonepat won the cash prize of 75 thousand rupees by defeating Khalsa Physical College Amritsar by 2-1 goals in the girls category. In the men's category, the host Kila Raipur team won the title by defeating Shahbad Markanda's team by 2-1 (1-1) goals through a tiebreaker. In Circle Kabaddi, Punjab girls won the cup by defeating Haryana 26-18.

Athletics Results:- Sukhwinder Kaur Patiala 1st, Gurjot Kaur Hoshiarpur second and Sneha Jalandhar 3rd, Gurjot Kaur Hoshiarpur 800m in Athletics (Girls) on the last day of 83rd Apollo Tires Rural Sports Festival, Fort Raipur. First, Sukhwinder Kaur of Patiala second and Masjad Jalandhar third, Kamaljit Kaur Ludhiana first, Gurjot Kaur Hoshiarpur second and Deepti Ludhiana third in high jump competition.

In the boys' 200m race, Lovepreet Singh Sangrur stood first, Abhishek Sharma Hoshiarpur second and Jashandeep Singh Ludhiana stood third. In the boys' 400 meter race, Lovepreet Singh Sangrur won the first place, Jashndeep Singh Ludhiana won the second place and Zeman Burjo Hoshiarpur won the third place, Gurjot Kaur Hoshiarpur won the first place, Sukhwinder Kaur Patiala won the second place and Jashpreet Kaur Ludhiana won the third place. 

In primary school children's 100 meter race, Anish Jandiali won first place, Gurjot Singh Namol won second place and Suraj Kumar Kilah Raipur won third place. Meena Jakhar won the first place, Harman Sangrur the second place and Amrita Jandiali the third place in the girls category. Abhishek Sharma Hoshiarpur stood first, Lovepreet Singh Sangrur stood second and Karanjot Singh Ludhiana stood third in boys' 100m race.
