Ambala , 23 Jan 2023

Haryana Home and Health Minister Sh. Anil Vij said that the Congress never gave credit for freedom to others except itself, till date they says "Le di humein azaadi bina khadg bina dhal, sabarmati ke sant tune kar diya kamal". Sh. Vij said that Sabarmati saint has done wonders and he salutes him.

But, by saying “Bina Khadg Bina Dhal” we are insulting those who gave their sacrifices. While celebrating the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Park in Ambala Cantonment today, Home Minister Anil Vij saluted Netaji by offering flowers on his 12 feet tall statue along with hundreds of workers.

After this, during interacting with media persons, Home Minister Anil Vij said that 26,000 soldiers of Azad Hind Fauj were martyred during the occupation of Andaman and Nicobar. When we say “Bina Khadga Bina Dhal” then we also insult the sacrifices of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev.

The unsung heroes, who were never remembered in this freedom struggle, are now being remembered for the first time in the country after the Narendra Modi government came to power. Last year, on the birth anniversary of Netaji, Narendra Modi himself hoisted the tricolor at the Red Fort.

Netaji is the first great man who first hoisted the tricolor in Andaman and Nicobar by issuing stamps and currency in 1943 by forming the independent government of the country.

The land of Subhash Park was taken over by the strong land mafia, but we fought- Vij

Home Minister Anil Vij said that today is the birth anniversary of Subhash Chandra Bose and since 2000 we are celebrating the birth anniversary regularly. Where we are standing, it was the dirtiest place in the city and all the garbage of the city used to fall here.

Strong land mafia of Ambala Cantonment had got this land in their name, but we freed this place by fighting a long battle and built Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Park here, where today thousands of people from other cities also come here. It has become a picnic spot, he added.

Netaji's big contribution in freedom, he was never remembered- Vij

Home Minister Anil Vij said that when this park was to be named, many suggestions came, someone said to name the park after Gandhi or Nehru. But, I said that the whole of India is named after Nehru and Gandhi.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose had a huge contribution in independence and he was never remembered. He installed the statue of Netaji here in the year 2000. Today, all the workers do not forget to remember this day by leaving all the work and we come here to say Jai Hind, Netaji gave the slogan of Jai Hind, he said.

One can say anything only after watching the film- Vij

On AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi's statement of banning the film on Nathuram Godse, Home Minister Anil Vij said that no one has seen the film yet and one can say something only after watching the film and these people are the ones who have freedom of expression, then we have to see.

Minister Vij bluntly on SP leader's controversial statement on Ramcharit Manas, “aap pahale hindu sanskrti, hindu dharm ko padhon, usako jaanon aur phir apanee raay do”

On the controversial statement of SP leader Swami Prasad Maurya on Ramcharit Manas, Home Minister Anil Vij said that these people are ignorant of the sentiments given inside Ramcharit Manas.

He said that “I want to ask that minister whether you know Ramcharitra Manas or not, if you do not know then there is no question of believing or not believing. He said that “aap pahale hindu sanskrti, hindu dharm ko padhon, usako jaanon aur phir apanee raay do”.
