Taking governance at the door steps of the public and to take first hand appraisal of their issues and grievances, the District Administration Kulgam today organized mega grievances redressal camps in three blocks of the district viz. Devsar, Kulgam and D. H. Pora.

The programme was attended by PRIs and general public who highlighted issues and grievances confronting their areas for early redressal. 

To take appraisal of public grievances and demands, the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Showkat Ahmad Rather along with Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Viqar Ahmed Giri remained available at Kulgam where issues and grievances of people were listened to for redressal.

Officers from District Administration who were present during the Block Diwas also responded to the grievances flagged-off by people during this grievances redressal camp.

People from Khudwani, Aamnoo, Mirhama, Bolsoo and various other areas participated in the grievances redressal camp and put up various issues of public importance and flagged-off developmental requirements of their areas.

ADDC gave a patient hearing to the public issues and some of the issues of immediate nature were redressed on the spot. Meanwhile, Block Diwas function was also held at D. H. Pora where SDM Noorabad Bashir ul Hasaan listened to issues and grievances of people for redressal.

Officers also remained available at Block Diwas function at Devsar and listened to issues of people for early redressal.
