Fazilka Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal today spent time to celebrate the coming New Year with students of Priyas School (School for Deaf and Dumb)  run by Red Cross Society. The Deputy Commissioner took these children to show the  retreat ceremony at Sadki Chowki on International Boarder. Some other students of local government schools and NCC cadets from Government Sen. Sec School Dharampura also joined her during these celebrations.  

Deputy Commissioner said that Priyas School is providing education to deaf and dumb children with special needs and it is run by Red Cross Society Fazilka. She said that this special arrangement for these special needs children was done so that these children can also participate retreat ceremony.

On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Mrs. Mandeep Kaur said that this day has become special for these children. Apart from this, some children also participated in this trip through Pandit Kashi Ram Memorial Welfare Society. 

Additional Deputy Commissioner Development Mr. Sandeep Kumar said that apart from this, NCC cadets of Government Senior Secondary School Dharam Pura also participated in this trip. On this occasion, Assistant Commissioner General Mr. Manjit Singh Aulakh, Mr. Pradeep Gakhar, Leeladhar Sharma and other officials were also present.
