The Department of Animal Husbandry in collaboration with Lead District Bank Bandipora on Friday conducted weekly KCC Camp under the Nationwide KCC campaign at Arin.The camp was chaired by Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Bandipora, Dr Gh Ahmad Lone and Lead District Manager, Shabir Ahmad.

The camp witnessed a huge turnout of farmers who interacted with the officers. Several KCC Cases were sponsored on the spot through different banks. Farmers were briefed about the utility of the KCC scheme and the guidelines to be followed while applying for the scheme.

Moreover, farmers were also made aware about various departmental schemes currently in operation. CAHO Bandipora also put forward his comments on the utilisation of funds received under KCC for animal welfare only. 

BVO Bandipora encouraged the farmers of Arin to participate in the Entrepreneurship culture that is ushering in the new era for the farming community throughout the country. Later, an interactive session was held where the farmers posed their questions and concerns to the officials which were answered to their utmost satisfaction. 

Meanwhile, awareness regarding the recent outbreak of LSD and its possible prevention was also provided to the farmers.Block Veterinary Officer Bandipora Dr. Mohd Ramzan Chopan, concerned Bank Managers and Nodal Officer also participated in the Camp.
