On Sixth day of ongoing ‘Jan Abhiyan Awaami Muhim’; a prelude to upcoming Back to Village programme, the lines departments organised a series of activities at panchayat level across Kathua district today.

Secretary, IT Department, Prerna Puri visited Model Common Services Centres at panchayat Gurha Mundian, Hiranagar & Chack Nathal, Marheen and reviewed the progress made by these units under ongoing Jan Abhiyan

Agriculture Department distributed Soil Health Cards among farmers of Women Self Help Groups during a brief ceremony held at panchayat Plahi in Basohli whereas Health department  organized Ayushmaan Bharat PMJAY registration camps at Dhar Dugan, Bagoga, Thall and Dilwan panchayats under Jan Abhiyan programme.

The Tourism Department also organised an Awareness camp at Jasrota and Rajbagh Panchayats for exploration of trekking route inside Wild life Sanctuary, Jasrota wherein interactive session with PRI members and locals was also held on the occasion. 

Jal Shakti Department PHE Division Kathua organised Water testing of Amrit Sarovars at Panchayat Sallan in Block Dinga Amb to acquaint the locals about the water quality of water bodies.During the day long activities a E-Shram Registration Camp was organised by the Labour Department at Anganwadi Centre, Ward no 11 Kathua to register all eligibles as part of Jan Abhiyan Programme.

The Revenue Department today organised an awareness camp at Patwar Halqa Kanthal (Bani) where Land passbooks were distributed among beneficiaries. Similarly at Panchayat Sadrota an Awareness camp was also held where officials briefed people about different services offered by the Revenue Department through online mode.

Training cum Awareness camp was also organised by Co-operative Department Kathua in collaboration with PRI members in Fatehpur Panchayat of Block Bani to encourage potential members of cooperative societies and cooperatives.

The Department of Industries organized an Awareness Camp under 'Jan Abhiyan' regarding PMEGP at Block Dinga Amb where people were explained about the scope of the self employment scheme.Meanwhile, J&K Bank Branch Dayalachack organised an awareness drive at village Dalli where bank officials educated people about schemes like Sukanya Smridhi and other Social Security Schemes.

A Joint awareness camp was organised by DIC, Handloom, Handicraft Departments at CFC Kharote where field functionaries of the departments briefed the participants about their schemes and programmes.
